The 2010 Winter Olympics

Of course I have to write about the Olympics. I have been asking to watch it every night. Mopstly to see the opening ceremony again because I loved all of the dancing. I am getting ready for my big dance recital and I ran to my room and put on my dance tights, shoes, and outfit while the opening ceremony was going on. My favorite was the spikey haired guy near the end of the ceremony.

American Idol

Grandma introduced me to American Idol and I am a big fan of Simon Cowell. I have even been imitating holding up a pen by my mouth like him. I think he is the best person on the show and I am so excited for when they get to go to Hollywood. Between this and the Olympics my must see tv is set.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has been running a who is your favorite character campaign. Well, mine is Pluto and for Valentine's Day I got this great stuffed Pluto from mom and dad.

Wrap It Up!

Christmas is going to be here soon and I have a new found interest in wrapping my toys and giving them as gifts. It is so much fun to get tissue paper, wrapping paper, and lots and lots of scotch tape and wrap up different things and give them as gifts.

Panda

Here is what my new stuffed friend Panda looks like. I got her at Build A Bear and had such a great time! She sleeps with me every night and she is so soft and warm. Thanks to Santa for sending "No No" to have mommy and daddy get her for me. She now has some pretty bows and a dress to wear too.

No No

I have not blogged in awhile so I have some catching up to do. "No No" the elf on the shelf returned to our house for Christmas. He brought me a letter from Santa that said mommy and daddy needed to take me to Build a Bear to get a new stuffed friend because I have been good all year. No No stays at our house during the day and then flies to the North pole at night. Each day when I wake up he is in a different place.

Off to See The Wizard

This year for Halloween I was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I was so excited to wear my ruby red slippers and go trick or treating with Toto. As you can tell I was very excited after trick-or-treating.

Swedish Breakfast

Recently I have been making the breakfast trip to Ikea for free kids' breakfast. It is great! Mommy and I go and get a nice breakfast with eggs and bacon and it is only $1 for both of us! Then we can look around in the store too and work our way through the crazy Ikea maze.

So you Think You Can Dance?

I have started taking dance lessons at the Round Rock Repertory Dance Centre. I now have some tap shoes, ballet slippers, and a nice pink outfit. It sure is fun to learn how to do different kinds of dance!

Yes! I love the duck that has been crawling across the screen and in commercials during college football games. That duck is so funny and he just walks right across my TV screen.

The Fixer

I am sure that my Dad would not mind me saying that Pearl Jam is my favorite band. They have a new song called "The Fixer" which is #3 on the modern rock charts and I like to try and sing the "yeah yeah yeah" part through the amp daddy uses for his guitar with a real microphone and it makes my voice really really loud! I can always identify the song when I hear it too. I also like to sing kids songs from YouTube videos.

Where a kid can be a kid

Today we went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I played lots of games like Mario Kart and Firefighter and rode some rides too. I also had some yummy pizza and a tasty cupcake. It was my friend Kendall's 2nd birthday.

Where has the Summer gone?

Even though it has been the hottest Summer in Texas ever....I have still had lots of fun. I started a lemonade stand, tried my hand at gardening, took swimming lessons, and visited with my cousins from Kansas. Pre-School will be starting again soon but I still have a few more things on my Summer to do list. Stay tuned.

Little People Bingo

My favorite game right now is Little People Bingo. I really like to play this game with Mommy, Daddy, and Shelby. When I win I do a victory dance and if Shelby wins I do one for her. If Mommy or Daddy wins they have to do their own dance.

Happy 4th of July

What an amazing weekend! We went swimming with our friends the Pettys, then we went to the Round Rock 4th of July Parade and I met Bart Simpson (and got some very brief airtime on Fox News) then we went to the Round Rock Freedom Fest and heard Kelli Pickler and Jerry Jeff Walker!

We're Getting the Band Back Together

While mommy was out running errands, daddy and I were hanging out watching some tv when Pearl Jam-Storytellers came on. "is that green one Eddie?" I asked because I identify people by shirt colors. It was and I said "I want you to be in the band daddy." My daddy said he could not be in Pearl Jam then I suggested we start our own band and so we played guitars while Pearl Jam played on tv.

Cleveland Rocks!

I went to my first Major League Baseball game on June 26, 2009 while I was in Ohio. We saw the Cleveland Indians beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-2. After the game there were fireworks and I got to eat cotton candy for the first time!

Why are we in the bathroom?

This Thursday we had a scare with a tornado warning. We were lucky but some of our friends had their fences blow over, damage to roofs, and hail too. We were hanging out in our bathroom--not sure why. We read some books and it seemed kinda fun to me.

Longest Baseball Game Ever!

On May 30th 2009 I went to the Texas vs. Boston College NCAA Regional game at Disch-Faulk Field. It was my first UT baseball game and it was history! The longest baseball game in NCAA history--25 innings! I only was there for the first 10 innings but Texas won 3-2! It was also one of the greatest pitching performances ever by Austin Wood.
